Advanced Massage Therapy

If pain is stopping you from getting on with your life or your body needs a little TLC, my range of holistic treatments can ease your tension.

Advanced massage treatments that follow your lead.

Advanced massage therapy here is guided by your body’s responses, moment by moment. Some people come with ongoing pain or tightness, others notice tension that seems connected to elongated periods of stress or chronic pain. Wherever you’re starting from, our technique is founded on listening to you; your life, your experiences, your personal response to each session.

Our aim takes away the pressure to achieve a certain goal. Together, we approach your healing journey with an adaptable attitude, moving at your own pace.

Every session begins with how you’re feeling today

Nothing is fixed in advance. Adjustments can be made at any point.

Massage approaches available

Everyone’s massage needs are different, which is why we shape our approach in a truly personalised manner.

Deep Tissue Massage

This approach works with deeper layers of muscle where long held tension or discomfort often sits.

Rather than applying pressure for its own sake, the focus is on slow, attentive work that allows tissues to soften and movement to feel easier over time. Pressure is always guided by your feedback and comfort.

People often choose this when they’re experiencing:

Sports Massage

Sports massage supports rehabilitation following periods of physical activity, whether competitively or recreationally. The work adapts to where you are in your training or recovery, so you can perform at your best.

Sessions may be used:

Remedial Massage

Remedial massage focuses on areas of discomfort that may be affecting how you move or feel day to day. This approach is often used when pain or discomfort is interfering with everyday activities.

The intention is to support the body’s natural ability to recover by working with tension patterns or strain.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy involves careful, precise work with specific areas of tension that may refer to pain or discomfort elsewhere in the body. The pressure used is measured and responsive, not forceful. There’s time for the tissue to respond, and for your nervous system to stay settled throughout.

You’re always in control of how this work is approached.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage offers a more soothing, flowing style of touch that supports overall relaxation. If your body needs gentler care during periods of stress, we can ease this feeling together.

Sessions focus on:

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is a seated treatment that focuses on the head, neck, face, shoulders, arms, and upper back. This method gradually soothes tension in the neck and shoulders, aiding mental overload and relieving chronic headaches.

It can be received as a standalone session or alongside other treatments

On-Site Seated Acupressure Massage

This is a short, focused massage, often used in workplace or event settings. Sessions are adapted to each person.

The work concentrates on:

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology taping is used to support muscles and joints during movement, recovery, or rehabilitation. The elastic tape gently lifts the skin, which may help:

Taping is often used alongside massage to support the body between sessions.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a slower, more specialised form of soft tissue work that focuses on the fascial system, the web of connective tissue that supports and links structures throughout the body. This work uses gentle, sustained pressure rather than force. It allows time for deeper layers to respond and release in their own way.

MFR can be particularly helpful when tension feels widespread and persistent. It takes time, providing gradual but lasting relief for longstanding pain.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic form of massage that helping it move fluid and waste products through the lymphatic system more efficiently. Using light, precise strokes (rather than deep pressure), MLD can encourage a sense of lightness and ease in areas that feel puffy or congested. It’s often used to support post-injury or post-surgery recovery. Many people find it deeply calming for the nervous system too.

Helping you make progress without a timeline

If you feel that stress is causing you ongoing pain, then you needn’t suffer unnecessarily. It can take time to unlearn patterns of physical and mental trauma as well as the effects of ongoing stress, and that’s why I always adapt sessions to meet you where you are. There is no pressure to heal or meet an outcome, only the space and appropriate physical therapy required to ease your strain and make your days more comfortable.
